The ceremony was presided by Bishop John Maria Vũ Tất and joint by Auxiliary Bishop Nguyễn Hữu Long and large numbers of priests, clergymen and clergywomen, Catholic followers in the diocese.

During the ceremony, Bishop John Maria Vũ Tất initiated ordainment rituals for new deacons and reminded them of their pastoral mission as well as prayed for them to fulfill responsibilities in the new post.
