Five deacons of My Tho Diocese have been promoted as priests at a solemn ceremony held on June 29 in the diocese cathedral located in Tien Giang province’s My Tho City.
The ceremony was led by Bishop Peter Nguyễn Văn Khảm of My Tho diocese and Priest General Vicar Paul Trần Kỳ Minh, and joint by the deacons’ relatives and large numbers of priests, clergymen, clergywomen and Catholics.

As reported, the five new priests have completed training programs at Joseph Seminary in Ho Chi Minh City at the 2011-2018 course.
