A ceremony for priesthood ordainment of deacon Dominican Phạm Kim Trọng was held by Bui Chu diocese on February 2 at its Diocese Cathedral (Xuan Ngọc commune, Xuan Truong district).
The ceremony was chaired by Bishop Thomas Vũ Đình Hiệu of Bui Chu diocese and attended about 130 priests, 140 seminarians and a large number of Catholics in the locality.
At the ceremony, Bishop Thomas Vũ Đình Hiệu shared about the roles and responsibilities of priests in the Church and current society. The Bishop also reminded the new priest to always cultivate knowledge in order to strengthen the faith life and well perform pastoral duties.
