From November 16 to 20, Bui Chu Caritas conducted a charitable program of eye cataract surgery for the poor from Nam Dinh province at Vietnam-Japan Eye Hospital in Hanoi.
The program lasted five day with over 50 patients each day. The patients have received cataract surgeries by a modern method and care by the volunteers club “Sun Flower”.
It’s reported that eye cataract is one of main causes of blindness. Without early surgery, eye cataract may results in loss of eye sight entirely.
