Holy Week, the important week for Christians to commemorate the Passion, Cruxification and Resurrection of Jesus Christ, has took place from April 5 to 11 this year.
Holy Week, with three main masses of Last Supper (Holy Thursday), Good Friday of the Passion and Easter Vigil (Holy Saturday), usually attracts large numbers of priests and parishioners of My Tho Diocese.
This year, because of the complicated context of the Covid-19 epidemic, Bishop of My Tho diocese Peter Nguyễn Văn Khảm asked all followers not to gather at churches for commemorating services, and urged them to watch online masses on the website of My Tho diocese instead.
