The Ministry of Home Affairs (MOHA) held a labor union training program for members of its labor unions on May 11.
The event was presided over by Chairman of the MOHA’s Labor Union Thái Quang Toàn and attended by Vice Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Nguyễn Giang Tuệ Minh and Head of the Inspection Commission of Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Hoàng Bảo Trung, and key members of the MOHA’s Labor Union and labor unions of agencies under the MOHA.
Overview of training program
The one-day training covered contents on the organization of trade union congress at all levels for the 2017-2022 tenure and the dissemination of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor’s new regulations relating to inspection affairs. The training program aims to raise awareness and professional experiences for key union members, contributing to improve working effectiveness of labor unions in committees and agencies under the MOHA.
