A holy ceremony was solemnly held on August 31 at My Tho diocese's pastoral centre located in Tien Giang province's My Tho city for starting the new school year and investiture for seminarians.
The event was presided by Bishop of the diocese Peter Nguyễn Văn Khảm, and attended by 90 priests, and a large number of Catholics and relatives of seminarians in the diocese.
During the ceremony, Bishop Peter Nguyễn Văn Khảm conducted religious rituals to hand over cassocks to seven seminarians graduating from the St. Joseph Major Seminary in Hồ Chí Minh City and start the new school year (2018-2019) for 28 new seminarians in the diocese.
