The Central Commission for Mass Mobilization held on January 05 a conference for reviewing its religious affairs in 2020 and mapping out plans for 2021.
The conference was co-chaired by Vice Chairmen of the central mass mobilization commission Nguyễn Hồng Lĩnh and Đỗ Văn Phới and jointed by Deputy Minister of Home Affairs in charge of the Government Religious Committee Vũ Chiến Thắng and large numbers of representatives from concerning central sectors and agencies.
The conference highlighted religious organizations’ practical contributions in social charities, the Covid-19 epidemic prevention, and reliefs’ supplies to flood-hit victims in Central region in 2020.
During the event, the conference’s presidium highly appreciated the close and effective coordination of concerning sectors and agencies in religious affairs over the pass times.
Key tasks of religious affairs for 2021 will include the development of action plans and programs to implement the Resolution of the 13th Congress of the Central Party on mass mobilization amongst religious people.
