The Assumption of Mary, body and soul, into the glory of heaven was solemnly celebrated in Trai Gao Parish under Thai Binh diocese on August 15.
The feast of the Assumption of Blessed Mary into heaven was presided over by Priest Dominic Bùi Công Tự from the Societas Missionaria Matris Redemptoris (SMMR) of Phan Thiet Diocese; assisting him were Priest Superior General of the SMMR Nguyễn Văn Cung, Priest General Vicar of Thai Binh Diocese Francis Assisi Nguyễn Tiến Tám and the diocese priests.

Priest Dominic Bùi Công Tự used to be a parishioner of Trai Gao Parish and he made his first return to the parish for a thanksgiving mass since his priesthood ordination five years ago
Trai Gao parish is about 20 km from Thai Binh city. The parish currently has 1,000 parishioners approximately with Priest John Baptiste Trần Văn Hào as the parish head.
