Lam Dong province: Ma Bo chapter holds a groundbreaking ceremony for its new church

On September 3rd, 2014, at Ma Bo chapter (Duc Trong district, Lam Dong province) a stone laying ceremony was held for the construction of its new church.

Attending the ceremony were pastor Ha Hack, member of the Vietnam General Confederation of Evangelical Churches (Southern), chairperson of the ceremony; pastor Cilmup Ha Kar, Head of the Representative Committee, speaker of the ceremony; representatives from the local authorities and over 300 Protestants followers in the locality.

Ma Bo chapter was established in 1986 and consists of 5 house-churches. In 2013, the General Assembly appointed Missionary Ya Tô as a superintendent and the chapter was licensed to build the church with total cost of 2.1 billion VND in order to meet the need for religious practices by 915 protestant followers in the chapter.
