Kiem Tan Charity Group of Xuan Loc Diocese visited and presented gifts to the poor in Sa Binh commune, Sa Thay district, Kon Tum province on July 12th.
The charity group was led by the Knight of the Grand Cross Lê Đức Thịnh, and joint by Vice Chairman of the Kon Tum provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Bui Duy Chung.
The total presents handed to the poor include 3,000 kg of rice, 600 kg of noodles, 300 bottles of cooking oil, 300 cake packages and 40 packets of clothes.
Sa Binh commune currently has about 5,000 residents in which 95% of the population are ethnic minorities. At present, Sa Binh commune still has 700 poor households belonging to ethnic communities of Jrai, Ba Na etc..../.
