Khanh Hoa province: the inter- diocesan training course 2014 for young priests at Nha Trang diocese

In August from 4th to 7th, 2014, 200 priests from 10 dioceses namely: Bui Chu, Hue, Da Nang, Quy Nhon, Kontum, Ban Me Thuot, Nha Trang, Da Lat, Phan Thiet and Ba Ria gathered at Nha Trang diocese to attend a training course 2014 for young priests with the title “the priest, the one who presents “the Joy of the Gospel””
The training of priests is one of the most concerned issues of the Church, not only in the seminary but also in the whole life of priests in order to help priests study and update the knowledge through the Church’s documents as well as some issues the Church are facing in today society. The inter-diocesan training course was initiated by Joseph Võ Đức Minh, Bishop of Nha Trang diocese aimed at fostering knowledge about life and service mission for young priests. The first inter-diocesan training course was organized at Nha Trang diocese in August, 2011 with the participation of 210 priests from 9 dioceses.
