Islamic representative committee in An Giang hands over charity houses to poor households

The representative committee of the Islamic community in An Giang has presented four charity houses to disadvantaged Muslim in Khanh Hoa commune of An Giang’s Chau Phu district.
Each house has an area of 40 m2 with the total construction investment of 80 million VND which have been contributed by the provincial Islamic representative committee and other sponsors.
Since the beginning of the year, the provincial Islamic community representative committee has presented seven out of 13 charity houses, reaching 53.8% of an original plan.
In addition, the provincial Islamic committee visited and presented financial packages with the total value of 100 million VND to 337 Islam households badly affected by the Covid-19 pandemic in three communes of Quoc Thai, Khanh Binh and Nhon Hoi of An Phu district. Each financial package included 300,000 VND in cash./.
