The Representative Committee of the Islamic community in Tay Ninh province started its 3rd basic tenets course at the opening ceremony held on December 24 at Nourul Ehsan Mosque.
Attending the event included Chairman of the committee Haji Chàm Sá, dignitaries of the Islamic community and about 200 Muslims from mosques in the province. Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Võ Thành Công was amongst guests at the course’s opening ceremony.
As reported at the ceremony, the 3rd training on basic Islamic tenets has enrolled 116 students and takes place in Nourul Ehsan Mosque. The course will be nine-month long, covering basic contents of the Qu’ran as well as key teachings and rites of Islam.
