Local people in Phu Thinh village of Viet Tri city’s Thuy Van commune held on January 13 a ceremony for inauguration of the village temple.
Taking part in the ceremony includes representative leaders of the commune authorities, local people and visitors.

Phu Thinh village’s temple was built in 1917 for honoring the merits of the village’s tutelage Bạch Thạch Dai Vuong, who led the local people in the resistance wars against foreign invaders. The temple has undergone several renovations and the latest upgrade was started in September 2019.

The village temple’s festival annually takes place on the 15th of the eight lunar month, often featuring the worshiping rituals and ceremonies, the procession and folk games.
