The event themed “Coming back to the Mother” taking place at the pastoral centre of Hue Archdiocese saw the participation of Archbishop President of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of Vietnam Joseph Nguyễn Chí Linh, priests of the Hue Archdiocese, representatives from the Catholic congregations and orders, and visitors.

Representatives from the Literature and Art Association, Huong River Magazine in Thua Thien Hue province; Hue Cultural Museum; Hue Fine Arts Museum; Thua Thien Hue Fine Arts Association and more than 50 artists from Hue, Saigon, Quang Tri and Quang Binh also attended the opening ceremony.

The exhibition will be held at the pastoral centre of Hue Archdiocese from August 3 to 9 and in the Our Lady of La Vang Pilgrimage Centre located in Quang Tri province from August 12 to 16, on occasion of the Our Lady of the Assumption,.

At the exhibition

According to the organization board, all paintings and statues during the exhibition sold will be deducted 50% for supporting the construction of Our Lady of La Vang Pilgrimage Centre.
