Archbishop of Hue Archdiocese Francis Xavier Lê Văn Hồng presided over the special ritual of Holy Door of Mercy at a ceremony held on December 13 at Phu Cam Cathedral as part of a global movement to celebrate the Catholic Church’s Year of Mercy.
During the event, the Archbishop stated “Let's open the main door, we will carry on and praise God” and “This is the gate of God house, let's walk through the gate and receive the mercy and forgiveness”.
In closing of the event, representatives of parishes and congregations received a contemplation book on the God’s Word relating the theme of mercy edited by the Hue Archdiocese.
