Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Vũ Chiến Thắng extends Christmas greetings 2023 to ECVN in Dak Lak

Accompanying the delegation included Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Vũ Hoài Bắc and Head of the GCRA’s Protestant Affairs Division Thiều Thị Hương.

Welcoming the delegation included Pastor Huỳnh Cường, Commissioner of the ECVN and Pastor Y Tuân Mlô, Chairman of the ECVN’s Representative Committee in the province.

During the visit, while extending warm greetings of Christmas 2023 and New Year 2024 to pastors, commissioned pastors, preachers and all members of the ECVN in Dak Lak, Deputy Minister Vũ Chiến Thắng highlighted practical contributions made by Protestant organizations in general and the ECVN in particular in patriotic movements launched by provincial authorities. The home affairs official expressed hope that the ECVN’s commissioner and the provincial representative committee would further encourage followers to promote fine traditions and values, closely accompany with the nation, and make practical contributions for strengthening social unity in the locality.

Pastor Huỳnh Cường took the chance to thank Deputy Minister Vũ Chiến Thắng and the GCRA for their attention and supports extended to religious practices of the Evangelical church in the province over the past year. The pastor also affirmed that in his role, he would continue guiding members of the evangelical church to promote community cohesion and fulfil civil obligations accordance with state laws.
