Ha Nam provincial department of home affairs held on August 22 a training conference on religious affairs for local cadres in the province.
The event saw the participation of 350 cadres tasked with religious affairs at all levels in the province.
During the event, Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Vũ Chiến Thắng presented topics introducing religious demography in the world and Vietnam; key contents of state policies and laws on religion and the State administration on religion in Vietnam, and practical experiences for the state governance on religion. He also emphasized four key tasks on religious affairs assigned by the Prime Minister, especially the granting of land-use certificates for religious organizations.
