Head of the Hoa Hao Buddhist executive board in Phu Hiep commune of An Giang province’s Phu Tan district Nguyễn Văn has made many contributions to the education promotion work.

Regarding study promotion work, Nguyễn Văn Lên, born in 1960 in Phu Hiep commune, Phu Tan district, An Giang province, has successfully raised funds and supports amongst Hoa Hoa Buddhists and sponsors for building two classrooms in Hoa Phap village of Phu Hiep commune, valued at 150 million VND helping 30 children to school.

Later, he has mobilized resources from sponsors for building a local bridge connecting the two communes of Phu Hiep and Hoa Lac in order to practically help pupils in their way to school.

He also encouraged local followers to actively make practical contributions by buying notebooks and study equipments for poor pupils in the locality.

In the school year 2019-2020, given his collaboration, the study promotion fund in the commune and the Hoa Hao Buddhist executive presented 10 million VND for buying 2,000 notebooks and 600 pens to 120 elementary pupils.
