The Central Executive Committee of Hoa Hao Buddhist Church held on July 10 the opening ceremony for its 371st training course on religious tenets.
The event taking at the office of the Executive Board of Hoa Hao Buddhist Church in Cai Lay district’s Tan Phong commune saw the participation of Member of the Central Executive Committee cum Head of the organization and personnel commission Nguyễn Văn Lượng, Head of the Representative Committee of the Buddhist Church in the province Võ Văn Thượng, and nearly 150 key followers of Hoa Hao Buddhist Church in the province.
The training course aimed to enhance deacons’ knowledge on fundamental teachings of Hoa Hao Buddhism as well as policies and guidelines of the Party and State on belief and religion.
The religious tenets training is taking place until July 24.
