The establishment of Hoa Binh Xuan Loc Vocational College located in Dong Nai province’s Trang Bom district was formally announced at a ceremony held on September 1.
Attending the ceremony were Bishop of Xuan Loc diocese Joseph Đinh Đức Đạo, Auxiliary Bishop of Xuan Loc John Đỗ Văn Ngân, students of the college, and large numbers of clergymen, clergywomen and Catholics in the diocese.
Distinguished guests at the event included Director General of the Department of Vocational Training under the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs Nguyễn Hồng Minh, Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Dương Ngọc Tấn, President of Taiken Academy from Japan Shibaoka Michio and representatives from local authorities.
Hoa Binh Xuan Loc Vocational College has been established based on Hoa Binh Xuan Loc Vocational Intermediate School founded in 2008. Since its establishment, the school has enrolled and trained high skilled labor for industrial parks in Dong Nai province in particular and neighboring regions in general and created jobs for many Catholics and non-Catholics in the area. The college has enrolled 1260 students for the 2017-2018 academic year.
