Most Venerable Thích Trí Quảng, Vice President of Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) Executive Council cum Head of Ho Chi Minh city VBS Executive Committee paid a Christmas visit to Archbishop Paul Bùi Văn Đọc on Dec. 19.
At the visit, Most Venerable Thích Trí Quảng extended best wishes and merry Christmas to Archbishop Paul Bùi Văn Đọc and Catholic followers and affirmed that both Catholicism and Buddhism are peace-loving and working towards to build the country and serve interests of people”
He also expressed that Buddhism and Catholicism in Ho Chi Minh city always maintain a harmonious relationship. This relationship would be the foundation for younger generations of the two religions to exchange, share practical experiences in order to better serve the community and society.
Archbishop Paul Bùi Văn Đọc expressed his sincere thanks to Most Venerable Thích Trí Quảng and the Ho Chi Minh city VBS’ Executive Committee for their Christmas visit.
