The Vietnam Buddhist Institute located in Hanoi city’s Soc Son district held a ceremony on June 28 to start the summer retreat course 2016 (B.E. 2560).
Buddhist dignitaries attending the ceremony included Venerable Rector of the Vietnam Buddhist Institute Thích Thanh Đạt, and Venerable Vice Rectors of the Institute Thích Thanh Quyết and Thích Thanh Ấn.
The annual summer retreat course this year will last three months with the participation of about 560 monks and nuns.
