Hanoi: Thach Bich parish organizes second religious dogmas contest

In two days on August 24 and 25, 2014, Thach Bich parish (Bich Hoa commune, Ung Hoa district, Hanoi city) held second religious dogmas contest in the family evangelization year 2014.

Attending the contest were parochus Paul Nguyễn Văn Đoàn, administrator of Thanh Oai vicariate, priests, clergymen, nuns and a large number of Catholics in the parish.

The contest attracted a wide range of participants in the parish, including children, youth, adults and old people, with a total number of 2807 people registered to take part in the contest.

Learning and competition of religious dogmas under a program by Hanoi archdiocese is an opportunity for Catholics to improve religious knowledge and mutual understanding. Especially, in the family evangelization year 2014, everyone learnt the third part of the Catholic Church’s dogmas: Ten Commandments and the Episcopal letter by the Vietnam Bishops conference.
