The Hanoi Congregation of the Lovers of Holy Cross under the Hanoi Archdiocese held a solemn ceremony of making perpetual vow for 15 nuns, on August 9.
The ceremony saw the participation of Bishop of Phat Diem Diocese Joseph Nguyễn Văn Yến, Superior Nun Head of the congregation Anna Nguyễn Thị Ngõa, priests in the archdiocese and sisters from the Congregation of the Lovers of Holy Cross.
The ceremony included three main rituals of receiving the covenant ring to show great trust in God, receiving the Cross to remind about God’s love, and joining ceremony for officially recognizing as members of the Congregation of the Lovers of Holy Cross with full rights and obligations.
