On the occasion of the Vatican delegation led by Under-Secretary for Relations with States of Vatican Antoine Camiller to Vietnam attending the 5th Vietnam-Vatican Joint Working Group meeting in Hanoi, on September 11th, 2014, the Vatican delegation visited the Temple of Literature. Accompaning with the delegation was Mr. Đặng Trung Thành, Deputy Director of the Department of Catholic Affairs under the Government Committee for Religious Affairs.
The delegation was introduced about the history of the first university in Vietnam and the eminent teacher Chu Văn An, the ancient architecture and unique human values of the Temple. The delegation also had an opportunity to listen to performance of traditional music.
