Hanoi Archdiocese solemnly held on April 9 the Lent (fasting) Festival 2017 for Catholic youth at Phu Da Parish located in Ha Nam province’s Ly Nhan district.
The celebrating event was presided over by Cardinal Archbishop of Hanoi Archdiocese Peter Nguyễn Văn Nhơn, and attended by 16 priests representing Catholic youth from the archdiocese’s deaneries, representatives of local authorities, and over 5,000 young people from all parishes in the archdiocese.
During the ceremony, Cardinal Peter Nguyễn Văn Nhơn exchanged with the participating Catholic youth on the theme “The Mighty One has done great things to me” chosen by Pope Francis for the 32nd World Youth Day 2017.
