A congress for clergymen and clergywomen under Hanoi Catholic Archdiocese was held on August 28 at Thai Binh Cathedral with the theme “Let's wake up the world”.
Attending the event included Cardinal Archbishop of Hanoi Archdiocese Nguyễn Văn Nhơn, bishops from dioceses of Thai Binh, Hai Phong, Phat Diem, Lang Son and Bui Chu, and about 2,000 priests, clergyman and clergywoman from 10 dioceses under Hanoi Archdiocese. Deputy Director of Catholicism Affairs Department under the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Đặng Trung Thành also joint the event.
At the congress, participating delegates discussed many topics, including the religious vocation and the most pressing issues for temporary votarists in today society.
