Go Vap Congregation of the Lovers of the Holy Cross holds a ceremony for Thanksgiving and Perpetual Vow

On June 9th, 2014, Go Vap Congregation of the Lovers of the Holy Cross held a ceremony for Professional Vow making anniversary for 12 nuns and Perpetual Vow making for 27 nuns at its headquarters at No. 578 Le Duc Tho, 16 ward, Ho Chi Minh city.

The ceremony was presided by Archbishop Bùi Văn Đọc, Archdiocese of Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) and joint by more than 100 priests from HCMC Archdiocese. Attending the ceremony were the clergymen of the Go Vap Congregation of the Lovers of the Holy Cross, guests from other religious orders in the archdiocese and families of the celebrated nuns.

Ceremony for Professional Vow making anniversary for nuns of this year included: three nuns with 70 years of religious profession vow (Kim Cuong Khanh), one nun with 60 years of religious profession vow (Ngoc Khanh), five nuns with 50 years of religious profession vow (Kim Khanh), and three nuns with 25 years of religious profession vow (Ngan Khanh). These nuns have been dedicating their whole life for the presence and development of the Go Vap Congregation of the Lovers of Holy Cross.

The ceremony was celebrated in the solemn and joyful atmosphere as Go Vap Congregation of the Lover of Holy Cross now have 27 official members working together for the progress of Congregation of the Holy Cross Lovers in particular and of Catholic church in general./.
