Gia Lai province: works started for a Buddhist College

On April 15, 2014 at Dien Phu commune, Pleiku city, the Executive Board of Gia Lai province’s Buddhism held a ground-breaking ceremony for the  Buddhist College

The Buddhist College will be built on area of 10,000 m2 with facilities including classrooms, a lecture hall, the teacher’s housing, adormitory for monks and nuns, an entertainment centre and a canteen.

  The school will be managed by Most Venerable Thích Tâm Tường – Head of Gia Lai province’s Buddhism Executive Board as its principal. After completion of the construction, the school will become one of places to train monks and nuns for the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Gia Lai province in particular and the Central Highlands in general.
