Attending the ceremony were representatives from central and local authorities, pastors from the ECVN Executive Board and the provincial Representative Board, deacons and followers in the locality. The Protestantism was brought Ia Sao in 1972 and the chapter was recognized in 2007. In 2009, the chapter held a groundbreaking ceremony for construction of a new church. The church was completed in 2013. Currently, the chapter has 1.733 followers with in which 830 people were baptized The Ia Sao church was built on total of area 553 m2 with 28m long, 14m wide and 14.15m high. The total construction cost of the church is over a billion VND.
