On March 21, De Groi Protestant Church in Gia Lai province’s Mang Yang district held a ceremony for formally announcing its establishment as a chapter under the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (South).
Attending the event included Pastor Vice President of the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (ECVN) (South) Nguyễn Hữu Bình, ECVN’s Pastors Siu Tum and Siu Pek, Pastor Chairman of the Protestant Representative Committee in Gia Lai province Hoàng Duy Linh, Protestants from six congregations of De Groi Church, and local authorities’ representatives.
During the ceremony, Pastor Siu Tum read the ECVN’s document on recognition of De Groi Protestant Church and the provincial authorities’ consent for De Groi Protestant Church to hold an establishment meeting to elect its executive board.
