Chief Executive Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Bùi Thanh Hà led a delegation to visit the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (ECVN) (North) on January 18, ahead of the upcoming traditional New Year (Tet) festival.
The delegation was welcomed by Pastor President of the ECVN (North)’s Executive Committee Nguyễn Hữu Mạc.
While extending Tet greetings to the ECVN’s pastors and followers, Vice Chairman Bùi Thanh Hà praised Protestant dignitaries for their efforts in guiding its followers to practice the religion in accordance with the Church’s Charter and the State’s laws.
At the visiting reception, Pastor Nguyễn Hữu Mạc took the chance to exchange with the guests on the ECVN’s plan for organizing its 35th general conference in 2017.
