A forum on Mother Goddess worship held on April 8 in imperial citadel of Thang Long, Ha Noi.
Taking part in the event included Venerable Thích Thanh Tuấn from Vinh Nghiem pagoda located in Thai Binh province, experts from the Thang Long heritage association and the institute for belief and religion under the Vietnam academy of social sciences, and large numbers of mediums, guests and students who interested in the Mother Goddess worship and spectators.
The event introduced how worshipping figures of the Goddess worship of three realms and four realms are worshipped and their statues arranged on the worshipping altar, as well as costumes of the Mother Goddess worship.
Venerable Thích Thanh Tuấn shared about the relationship between Buddhism and Mother Goddess worship reflected especially through ritual activities. He also explained some terms commonly used in practices of the Mother Goddess worship.
