The event taking place in Hanoi’s Son Tay provincial city included the communication & dissemination on the environment and climate change adaptation, and practical activities for environmental protection.

During the event, the VFF committee in Hanoi asked the local authorities to closely collaborate with religious organizations for enhancing the efficiency of the communication and dissemination work with more diverse and suitable methods. The VFF committee also requested local governments to support religious models which has developed and operated by religious organizations for protecting environment.

Later, representatives of religious organizations in the city and local cadres and people in Son Tay provincial city’s Son Dong commune have joined hands in cleaning up village roads around Son Dong Catholic Community in Son Tay district.
