The Dignitaries Council of the Cham Brahmin Community in Ninh Thuan province reviewed its annual performance 2016 mapped out working plans for 2017 at a meeting held on December 9.
Attending the event were Vice President of the Council Hán Đô, members of the council and representatives of Brahmin worshipping temples in the province.
Local guests at the meeting included Deputy Director of the provincial Home Affairs Department Lê Hoài Nam and representatives of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs.
As reported at the annual event, in 2016, the executive body of the Cham Brahmin community in the province recorded many results in social and religious activities, including reforms of certain costly religious rites and active participation in environmental protection and climate change response, etc.
