Evangelical chapters under the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (South) (ECVN) in provinces of Ben Tre and Phu Yen have strictly observed social distancing and proactively engaged in the Covid-19 prevention efforts in localities.
On April 17, on behalf of evangelical churches in Ben Tre, the ECVN’s representative committee in the province has presented 20 million VND to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in the province. Local evangelical churches also donated facemasks, rice, noodle, fresh water, and other necessities to followers and local residents.

In Phu Yen province, Hoa Xuan evangelical church has donated 4,000 facemasks and 100 bottles of hand wash liquid to local authorities and people in Hoa Xuan Dong commune in Dong Hoa district and An Nghiep commune in Tuy An district; Hoa Hiep Trung evangelical church presented 2,000 facemasks and 300 liquid bottles for hand wash; evangelical chapters of Hoa Phu and Hoa Binh supported 2,000 facemasks and 500 bottles of hand wash liquid to local authorities and residents.
