Nine commissioned pastors under the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (South) (ECVN) were formally promoted as fulltime pastors at a ceremony held on August 7 in Gia Lai province’s Ia Grai district.
The event taking place at Plei Breng church saw the participation of Pastor Deputy Secretary of the ECVN (South) cum Chairman of the Interrogation and Ordainment Council Nguyễn Ngọc Thuận, dignitaries from the Church and the representative committee of the church in Gia Lai province, and deacons from the Church’s chapters in the province.
Representatives from the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs and local authorities also attended the event.
Nine newly ordained pastors include commissioned pastors Nguyễn Đình Phước, Thưu, Hanh, Ksor Chiar, Siu Hùng, Yư, Ksor Phim, Ksor Kái and Rơ Ô Tha.
