A model established for environment protection by Hoa Hao Buddhists in Tan Phu commune in Dong Thap province’s Thanh Binh district was formally kicked off at a ceremony held on June 22.
The launching event of the model called “use of clean water, building fences, flagpoles and planting trees at households” was organized by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Tan Phu commune in collaboration with the Hoa Hao Buddhist executive board in the commune.
The main contents of the model aimed to guide Hoa Hao Buddhists how to use hygiene water, plant trees and flowers, build fences and make flagpoles on public holidays and important religious festivals, contributing to keep residential areas clean and beautiful.
