Dong Thap provincial Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) held the religious administrative training 2015 on August 10 in Buu Quang pagoda.
Attending the ceremony were Most Venerable President of VBS Executive Council Thích Thiện Nhơn, Most Venerable Chairman of Dong Thap provincial Committee Thích Thiện Huệ, and about 250 abbots and abbesses in the locality.
Local authorities’ representatives at the event included Vice Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Võ Tuất Lộc Anh.
The training conference aimed to consolidate Buddhist personnel at grassroots level as well as strengthen administration at local Buddhist establishments.
