Dong Thap provincial Committee for Religious Affairs celebrated the 60th anniversary of the State sector on religious affairs (August 2, 1955 – August 2, 2015) at a ceremony held on August 11.
Attending the ceremony included Vice Chairwoman of Dong Thap provincial People’s Committee Trần Thị Thái.
Speaking at the event, Mrs. Trần Thị Thái highlighted practical contributions to the cause of the social-economic development in the locality. She also called on the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs to continue encouraging local dignitaries, followers to actively participate on the patriotic movements and comply with guidelines and policies of the Party and State.
At the ceremony, six individuals received the medal of merit for State administration on religion affairs by Home Affairs Ministry and three collectives and individuals were awarded the certificate of merit from the Government Committee for Religious Affairs.
