Buu Hoa Caodai parish under the Caodai Tay Ninh Church in Bien Hoa city, Dong Nai province solemnly held a ceremony to inaugurate its temple for worshipping Mother Buddha on May 10.
Attending the ceremony were Cardinal Thượng Tám Thanh, President of the Tay Ninh Caodai Church; representatives from provincial Committee for Religious Affairs and local authorities of Buu Hoa ward, Bien Hoa city and Dong Nai province; and about 1,000 dignitaries, deacons and followers from parishes under the Tay Ninh Caodai Church inside and outside the locality.
Buu Hoa parish’s first temple for worshipping Mother Buddha was built in 1964 and has degraded after 40 years of existence. The new Mother Buddha worshipping facility was started in November 2012 and completed after nearly three years of construction.
