Deputy Minister Vũ Chiến Thắng receives Vietnam Full Gospel Church

Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Ministry Vũ Chiến Thắng hosted on January 30 a reception for a visiting delegation of the Vietnam Full Gospel Church led by Pastor Đinh Thanh Hùng.

 

Joining the reception included Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Vũ Hoài Bắc.

During the reception, Deputy Minister Vũ Chiến Thắng spoke highly of social and charitable contributions made by the Gospel church over the past year. The home affairs ministry official expressed hope that the church leadership would continue promoting fine traditions and development, contributing more for the social unity and development in the country.

Speaking with the host, Pastor Đinh Thanh Hùng shared about activities of the church in 2023, and took the chance to thank to the home affairs ministry and the GCRA for their due attention and support extended to religious affairs of the church, including the legal recognition of the religious organization last year.

As reported, the Vietnam Full Gospel church was founded in 1990. The church currently has 54 chapters, and 85 congregations with 38 chapels, and has contributed tens of billions VND for social charities in the country.
