The death anniversary of the Hung Kings was solemnly commemorated at a ceremony held on April 12 in Hung King temple complex, Phu Tho province.
On behalf of the whole country’s people, Phu Tho provincial authorities burned incense, offered flowers and offerings as an expression of gratitude to the Legendary Father of Vietnam, as well as prayed for his blessings to peace and prosperity in the country.
Later of the same day, the provincial authorities also paid tribute to Great Mother Âu Cơ with many offerings, including 100 traditional cakes and fruits for expressing gratitude and remembrance of the Legendary Mother’s merits.
