The Daughters of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal in Kon Tum solemnly held on November 27 a ceremony to celebrate its monastic Day 70th.
During the ceremony 81 sisters of the monastic congregation also professed their perpetual vow, the first time for the Catholic order.
The ceremony taking place int Kon Tum Cathedral church was presided by Bishop of Kon Tum diocese Alonso Nguyễn Hùng Vị and attended by over 100 priests and 81 sisters from the congregations.
On the occasion, representatives of local authorities in Kon Tum province attended and extended congratulations to the Daughters of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal.
The Daughters of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal in Kon Tum is a congregation specifically for sisters from local ethnic minority groups of Bahnar, Se Dang, Ro Ngao, Jo Long, Jrai, etc. The congregation established in 1947 by Bishop Jean Sion Khâm annually celebrates the lady of the Miraculous Medal on November 27th.
