The Sacrament of the Sick was presided by Bishop Vincent Nguyễn Văn Bản of Ban Mê Thuột and attended by more than 140 secular and religious priests, 8 deacons and nearly 10.000 people including representatives of diocese’s orders, students and followers in Vinh Hoa and other parishes.  

At the opening of the Sacrament, Bishop Vincent Nguyễn Văn Bản shared with participants the meaning of the Sacrament of the Sick.  The Bishop of Buon Ma Thuat also praised the cooperation within the parish in the preparation for the Sacrament. Vinh Hoa parish has a long religious tradition and its well preparation for the Sacrament was thanked to a close coordination between the priest and the parish council, as well as efforts by every Catholic follower in the parish. The Sacrament of the Sick - the first one held in the parish, was carefully arranged and solemnly organized by the Organizing Committee.
