Da Nang provincial Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) Executive Committee reviewed its performance 2014 and set forth plans for 2015 at a conference held on Jan. 19 at Phap Lam pagoda
As reported at the conference by Venerable Thích Thông Đạo, Deputy Head of the provincial VBS Executive Committee, Buddhist affairs in the locality achieved encouraging outcomes, including charitable and social activities conducted at a total cost of 17,2 billion VND, building of 25 compassion houses for poor people, and restoration and construction of many Buddhist facilities in the locality

On this occasion, the Buddhist Executive Committee in seven towns and districts was awarded a certificate of merit for outstanding achievements in Buddhist affairs in 2014.
