On July 24th, 2014, the Party Committee, the People's Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hòa Tiến commune, Hòa Vang District, Đã Nẵng city in collaborate with Buddhist monks of Bà Đa pagoda held a requiem ceremony for the martyrs, who heroically sacrificed their life in the war for the cause of national liberation and reunification.
Attending the ceremony were Brigadier Nguyễn Văn Sơn, member of the Standing Committee of Party Committee of Đà Nẵng city, Chief of Đà Nẵng Police, Mr. Nguyễn Đăng Hải, Vice Chairman of Đà Nẵng’ Vietnam Fatherland Front and the dignitaries representing of Đà Nẵng’s Vietnam Buddhist Sangha...
At the ceremony, Bà Đa pagoda presented 40 gift boxes for local families under a special-care policy.
