Da Lat diocese celebrates 25th anniversary of priesthood of Coadjutor bishop

A ceremony was held in Da Lat Cathedral on May 29 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of priesthood ordination of Coadjutor bishop of Da Lat diocese Dominic Nguyễn Văn Mạnh.

The event saw the presence of Bishop of Da Lat diocese Antony Vũ Huy Chương, Coadjutor bishop of Da Lat diocese Dominic Nguyễn Văn Mạnh, and large numbers of priests and followers in the diocese.

Coadjutor bishop of Da Lat diocese Dominic Nguyễn Văn Mạnh was born on August 12, 1955 in Can Tho city. He served in Tan Thanh parish in Lôc Tien ward, Bao Loc city from 1980 to 1994 where was ordained as a priest in 1994. He was promoted by Pope Francis as Coadjutor bishop of Da Lat diocese in 2017.

On this occasion, Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Ngô Văn Đức visited and extended congratulations to the Coadjutor bishop and priests in the diocese.
